The "Jackass" Twist

Mulla Nasrudin was traveling across the countryside with a group of acquaintances. Suddenly, a cow mooed loudly nearby. The group, trying to roast Mulla, snickered and said, "Hey Mulla, that cow is calling for you. Go see what he wants." Mulla coolly walked over to the cow, stood there for a moment as if listening intently, and then walked back. Bursting with curiosity, the group asked, "Well? What did he say?" Mulla replied, "He just wanted to know why I was traveling with a whole herd of jackasses."
